​Module 1: Estimating in the Canadian Context - Learn why estimating matters, where it fits in the Canadian construction process, and how to identify estimate classes, cost types, and bid structures.

Module 2: Reading Drawings & Specifications - Understand how to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, navigate MasterFormat 2016, and extract scope information.

Module 3: Quantity Takeoff Fundamentals - Practice measuring quantities using Canadian units and explore both manual and digital takeoff tools like Bluebeam and Planswift.

Module 4: Intro to Pricing & Building an Estimate - Dive into Canadian pricing logic—labour, materials, overhead, and profit. Explore regional cost differences, structure a simple estimate in Excel, and learn to communicate cost risks

Assessment & Certification - Participants will complete a basic estimate or quiz to demonstrate foundational estimating competency. Upon successful completion, ABCD Crew will issue a Certificate of Completion, affirming readiness for cost-related roles in Canadian construction. This is not a license, but a job-readiness credential.
